Description

Dozens of thin strands, gathered and crossed into a single wide band. The color runs in lengthwise stripes rather than a pattern: rows of glossy black seed beads at both edges, then bands of matte cream, separated by narrow strips of copper-toned beads that catch light and give the whole thing warmth. Because the strands are woven over one another rather than laid flat, the surface has real depth — the cream sits back into shadow while the black and copper stand proud of it. It is an open cuff, not a closed loop. At rest it measures about 2.25 in across, and the gap at the bottom means it spreads to sit on a larger wrist; the band flexes, so it can be shaped gently to your own wrist rather than forced on over the hand. That also makes it an easy piece to share or to wear on either wrist. Every strand is intact and the ends are finished with small copper-toned beads, so nothing is fraying out. It is unmarked costume jewelry — I have not found a maker on it, and I cannot confirm whether the beads are glass or a hard resin, so I am describing it as costume rather than claiming a material. If you need a specific material before you buy, ask and I will tell you what I can see.
